Hi there,
I have taken a very long break from writing. What is the old saying, “nothing is ever wasted”? Could that include time as well? The seasons pass and people in my circle get older, aged. Consequently, do we mature? Or are we the same but just in an older container (body)? Therefore, the thoughts that I have are should we change? If we do not “grow up” why not? Because each person has a unique personality, is each person’s formula for growing up set to have the emotional maturity as that of an adolescent or are there a select few that acquire emotional maturity? Does it matter?
My hope is to begin to write again. I want to start to navigate a new way of life because I want to achieve some level of emotional maturity. The Chinese proverb “Do not be afraid of moving slowly. Be afraid only of standing still” encourages me that no matter how long my growth takes, it is better than becoming stagnated.
See ya later,
